I was pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of this rope saw. While it may not be the most affordable option, it’s significantly cheaper than hiring a tree service to remove large branches. I recently purchased it and have already used it extensively on three separate occasions. If it were to break tomorrow, I would feel like I’ve gotten my money’s worth.
The saw features a two-chain, two-sided design, eliminating the need to worry about positioning the cutting side correctly. Additionally, the attached line is robust enough to withstand the force I can generate.
The saw can handle limbs up to almost twelve inches in diameter, and I anticipate it will be able to cut larger branches when I exert the necessary energy. The cuts are clean and leave a neat flush edge on the branch, which is my desired outcome.
